Elevate Your Hula Hooping Skills in Our Improver Class Join me for an enriching experience in me improver hula hoop course, designed for those who have learned the fundamentals of hoop dance and wish to expand their skills. This program will guide you through more complex tricks and dance combinations, enhancing your coordination and strengthening your core. Hula hoop dance is not merely a physical activity; it’s a creative outlet that fosters a sense of play while promoting flexibility, core stability, and balance. As part of this vibrant community, you'll connect with passionate individuals who share your enthusiasm for movement and expression. Course Format: The improver module consists of six weekly classes, each lasting 1.5 hours, held on Saturdays at 11:00 AM. Classes include one hour of instruction followed by an optional 30-minute cool-off and flow jam in the beautiful studio at Euphoria Dance. To ensure focused attention, the class size will be limited to a maximum of 10 participants, with a minimum of 7 needed to start. If you miss a class, don’t worry! Each session will include a recap, and you’ll have the opportunity to practice together or individually during the additional time allocated for assistance. Course Dates: - January 18th, January 25th, February 1st, February 8th, February 15th, February 22nd - All sessions run on Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Course Content (examples, content will be adjusted according to the group level): - Expanding combinations of different tricks with dance - Variations of isolations - Variations of escalators - Variations of shoulder hooping - Breaks and Paddle techniques - Knee hooping Preparation for Class: - All hoops will be provided. - Pre-requisite: background in hoop dance fundamentals is required (waist & shoulder hooping) - We’ll begin with warm-ups to enhance flexibility, so there’s no need to worry about your current fitness level. - Please wear leggings or comfortable clothing - Classes will typically be held barefoot - Stay hydrated—please bring water! Join me to deepen your understanding and skill in hula hoop dance while engaging with a supportive and enthusiastic community. I look forward to spinning with you!
